MIC is a combination of fat-attracting amino acids and B-Vitamin derivations: Methionine, Inositol, and Choline. This combination is also known as
“lipotropic” agents and works by reducing the accumulation of excess fat in the liver and other body tissues. When used in conjunction with a clean diet and exercise program, they have been found to burn fat, speed up your metabolism, prevent cholesterol build-up, and detoxify the body.
Methionine is one of the nine essential amino acids which acts as a lipotropic agent to prevent excess fat buildup in the liver. Since methionine contains Sulphur, it is useful for strengthening cartilage, as well as nails and hair. Methionine can also be converted to cytosine, the precursor of glutathione,
which is essential in the detoxification of the liver.
Inositol is an essential nutrient belonging to the B Vitamin family and aids in the metabolism of fats. It also helps reduce blood cholesterol and is known to control both mood and appetite which is why it is sometimes used in treating patients who suffer from depression.
Choline is an essential nutrient and necessary for fat metabolism. It acts as a methyl donor which assists in detoxification reactions in the liver and is also crucial for the proper excretory functions of the kidneys and gallbladder which all work collectively to detoxify our bodies.
How do lipotropic injections support a healthy lifestyle?
MIC or lipotropic injections are known to increase the body’s metabolic rate and help curb appetite. When combined with a clean diet and consistent exercise
regimen, MIC injections are a great supportive aid for weight loss and detoxing. Patients have also reported higher energy levels while experiencing better cognitive function during the duration of taking MIC.
